1 Million Young Adults.
Every week, over 1 million young adults between the ages of 20-34 struggle with chronic loneliness, with devastating impacts on mental and physical health.

- #TheLonelyMillion
Together let's end the Silent Epidemic
Contrary to common misconceptions, research shows that young adults (aged 20-34) are 5 times more likely to struggle with chronic loneliness than the over 65s.
Yet owing to the stigma, they are also the age group least likely to speak out or seek help, leading to the silent epidemic of loneliness we’re seeing today.
To counteract this, #TheLonelyMillion is a movement, led by young people for young people to help de-stigmatise loneliness and build a more socially connected future for young adults.
